Lino floor for the buns? Empty Lino floor for the buns?

Post by FluffSlave Tue Jan 15, 2013 4:34 pm

I was thinking about putting down lino on the concrete in Willow and Mojo's room to make it easier to clean. Do you think this will be too slippy for them and am I better of sticking with just the concrete floor?

most buns fine lino a bit slippy, but you can always get a good rug to go ontop of it to give them a non slippy patch Smile

like Katie says lino is fine if it isn't smooth and shiny. You can get limo with a rough surface. I think it's designed for use in bathrooms. that would be better for them as shiny surfaces can cause injuries to buns.

Thumper never liked Lino or laminate but Molly and Junior don't seem to mind the Lino. They quite enjoy a good run around in the kitchen Laughing

It is textured though, like Katie and Nickie said Smile

I've got left over lino from the kitchen floor in the bottom of their hutch, it's slightly textured so it's non slip for us humans and my two are fine on it (and Jeeves can be like Bambi on ice).
I love how easy it is to clean.

I have 'grippy' lino in the buns sheds. The buns are fine with it, and it is certainly easier to keep clean.
