Thanks for all the vibes and advice. We are going to give it all a go! OH phoned his fish man today and he suggested it might be a particular illness/disease but OH can't remember what it's called and the man didn't have much advice other than give him a week or so Pretty pointless phone call really!

He's no better today at all

I can't be sure what OH feeds him and he's not here to ask but I know they get flakes of some kind, blood worm and these green things that sink to the bottom, which I believe are specifically for the him and his cat fish friends. Not all in one go though I don't think. Sorry, that wasn't very informative at all!

He's going to nip to P@H later and see what they have that might help.

Robot Fish is at least now lying flat out in the tank, rather than in the uncomfortable position he had been in the last few days. His back end is still up though and he has been lying in the same place since last night

OH is going to get some food into him shortly.

When I came down this morning I feared the worst because one of his catfish friends was lying beside him and we rarely see them. I was relieved when I saw Robot Fish move!!! I'm also kicking myself for not having my phone with me, it would have been a great pic!!

We have a cory and he is lying under him just now. They are always together. It's rather sweet!!

We also found out that Robot Fish is a girl, but Thumper is refusing to acknowledge this

I say gender is all in the mind. Admittedly in the mind of the individual concerned, not a third party...
