Here we go again 'Vibes please for Fudge / Eaten half his T.

He seems a bit quiet and he's not touched his breakfast this morning it's just how I gave it him. I think he may need a dental as he is a dental bun but you can imagine how
we feel as we are scared we are going to lose him now as well.

I know but I have lost 3 Nethies with heart attacks coming round from dental op's and Pud allergic to the GA. We worry so much about the Nethies as they are so small and it seems after a few dental op's it get's to much for them and then we lose them. I know I'm perhaps being silly but I'm so paranoid now when any of them go for a dental.

After they lost my Willow to the GA I dread ever having to put any of them back under. I know that it is less cases that end up badly, but you just can't help but worry, can you?

Maysie, I really hope I'm not out of line saying this, but this is going from experience with Dougal.

When he had his health check in August 2012 both his back teeth looked dodgy, one was longer than it should have been and the other was worn down more on one side than the other.

I heard about the Supreme Fibafirst hay sticks, and I got some and since then they get a handful a day. When he went for his combi in December he had worn down the crooked one, and the other had also been worn down a bit. There's still a watch on that one, but the fact he'd done one by himself, and had changed the other just screamed "yay" for me.

I get the larger box and they get a handful a day along with unlimited hay and pellets in the morning, dried herbs at night. They don't get veg any more, only herbs very occasionally.

I really hope you don't mind me suggesting it, but where you're getting a few dental buns atm I thought it was worth mentioning. Yes they are expensive, but if they can help prevent dentals and GAs they have to be worth a shot. I'm not saying they'll definitely work, but they have for Dougal.

He's eating his pellets at the moment and had some of his greens but I think we may get him checked out just to make sure he hasn't a back molar spur.

We are just glad he's eating.

Wee Fudge has eaten again his greens and pellets but we are going to get him checked out when we are brave enough
as we think he may be ready for a dental

I'm pleased as can be wee Fudge is eating again. I think it is wise to have him get a once over by the vet tho. I'm sure he misses his friends and he is picking up on your and Mike's profound grief.
