Can Hector have a bit of little gem lettuce?

I grew them myself so they're more green than supermarket ones, would it be ok to give him a little?

Consensus on the interweb seems to be yes, only a little, not every day and mostly the darker outer leaves rather than pale ones.

I thought lettuce is bad for buns?

'Lettuce' is too all-encompassing. Some varieties, such as lamb's lettuce and romaine are fine. Iceberg is not.

I avoid ice berg types but they have a little of the leafy sorts every so often.

Little Gems are too close to iceberg types for my liking. I would be very careful with it.

It's very green Cheryl, it's the difference between home grown and super market!

You probably could but i doubt it would be all that great for him. i tend to stay away from all lettuce type foods for the buns.
