Kong Cat Zoom Brush - Recc by Florence and Dougal UD vid p2

After seeing these receiving rave reviews on FB I ordered one. Like most bunnies this year, mine have been moulting like mad.

It arrived today so I had a go.

Dougal first, he loved it! He just laid there while I used it on him. The instructions recommends you do use it in a circular motion, so I tried that and as a normal brush. He loved both ways and when I stopped he looked up as if to say "oi more"!




I knew the real test would be on Florence, who boxes and bites when you attempt to brush her. However I wasn't quite expecting this...





She too laid there and enjoyed it! She wasn't so keen on the circular motion, but to have a brush I could actually use on her without her biting and me having to dance with a brush was bliss. She still has a few tuffs on her, but the fact she enjoyed it is a winner.

Wow! Carla, I'd never have believed Florence submitted to any brush of any kind EVER...until I saw the pic. Those are two extremely mellowed out buns! Just think-a fenugreek crunchie and some brushing with that and you might actually get a calm Florence-for a couple of minutes anyway!

It's good seeing them(and you) here. I miss you.  

That's answered my question now as a lot of my customers always pop their brushes in with their bunnies belongings and a lot have been these type of cat brush, I may get one to try on Big Bazza though he usually runs off in mid brush or grumps at me

No drugs were involved, amazingly!! She actually enjoyed it! I did get a photo of her all laid out but it was a bit dark. She is an absolute pig to brush, as you all know, and I didn't even get grunted at.

I've never seen Florence so submissive!

Do those Zoom cat brushes get a lot of fur off Carla as I might order one  

They do. What happens is it stacks up on it, then it's really easy to clear off as it's rubber. The first time I did it with Dougal fur went flying everywhere, but once you get the technique there's no stopping you! I got loads off of both of them, it wasn't great with the tuffs of fur on Florence, but it did loosen them so I was able to pluck them without her flinching. She didn't even realise I'd done it!

The fur is in the bin or I'd have taken a pic. It's much better than the wire one I was using, which needed cleaning more and wasn't easy to clean. Plus, I didn't end up with half a rabbit on me!

I know, I'll film it!

I think I will order 2 one for Mike and one for me to use on the buns. I am wondering if they would be good for Angora Jess as it would be nice to use these as they are like a massager as well as a brush so they are making brushing a pleasant thing for them.

Sold! Just ordered one for Shadow as he's moulting an awful lot and with his Rexy fur there's so much of it and its so fine I find it so difficult to groom him. Sounds like this will solve that problem! X

I'm glad I ordered two now watching that video and how much fur comes off and how easy it is to get off the brush.

They certainly seem to like it although Florence had her moments   

I think she got bored!!! I'd already had a long go on her earlier and then it was a "not again mum" plus I'd taken her dig box out so she was probably peeved about that too!

I can honestly say its the best pet brush I've ever had. Dougal would lay there all day I think! It's so easy to use, and the fur just lifts off it to clean it. I'm going to get shares in this company, I think thy are great!!!!

Sophia mentioned it before and we had a look, but now we'll definitely get one. Did you wet it slightly before using it?

Nope didnt wet it. Just used it dry.

It does say you can use it while bathing the animal, but I assume that is for dogs. Anyone who puts a cat in the bath and uses the brush on the cat while doing it quite frankly must be suicidal!

And me when I can afford it, it seems just the thing.
