Vibes Please for Arfa/ UD Arfa has been helped to the Bridge

Arfa is at the vet's tomorrow for a dental but she is going to x-ray him first as something is not quite right and I have an awful
gut feeling he could have a tumour and I hope to God I'm wrong, but I was right about Penny and it's not often I'm wrong .

I'm hoping it's all down to his teeth but he has started to make noises when he is picked up as if in pain, he has now started
to eat very little this is just how Penny was although Penny's shape changed and that's what made me think it was a tumour as
a growing tumour sometimes pushes organs up or down or outwards and that's how I can tell sometimes it just alters their shape.

I can't see any shape change in Arfa, but he's not running round like he was and Penny was like that to in the end. Oh I do hope
I'm wrong.    it's bad enough it's his first dental and he is totally blind so he will not know where he is and I'm already worked
up and worrying about him.

Please can he have some Vibes that it's just a dental and nothing more and that he will be a brave boy and stay safe

Bless u both! Since his preciousness is blind I'd ask to stay and talk to him until he is out. He would be less scared that way. Mike could insist. Nicely.

*UPDATE 14:14pm *

Mike has just rang the vet to see how Arfa is and they have removed 2 teeth that were loose, his right side of his mouth is ok but he has serious dental disease on the left   


There is also a mass in his chest which is called a 'Thoracic mass' which is stopping his lungs working as well as they should, at the moment it's not life threatening but it will be.
He has to go back in 3 weeks to be x-rayed to see if it has grown.

So the outlook for Arfa is not good at all.   

Oh Maysie that is just terrible. Poor Arfa and I feel for you and Mike having to cope with all the poorly bunnies recently.

I am so sorry that the news has not been good. Poor Arfa, this year so far seems to be especially cruel to HH bunnies. I know it is no consolation that Arfa will have the best possible life, however long that may be.

I am saying a prayer that the mass Arfa has will not increase so he has some time ahead of him. I do know though, that however long he has will be wonderful and happy bless his heart.

We just feel that life is a bit unfair at the moment to us and to Arfa. He doesn't deserve this as he is such a happy bunny. Mike has just rang me now to say he's just collected Arfa from the vet's and the vet nurse said he hasn't touched his packed lunch I sent him with at all, Mike said 'Hello Arfa' and he started tucking in to his food Bless him.

I've ordered him a large puppy crate this afternoon off ebay so that we can put it in his play area and he can go in and out when he likes this way we don't have to pick him up out of his indoor cage to put him in his play pen. At the moment it's all about Arfa and making him as comfortable as we can and spoiling him and just enjoying the precious time we have with him.

But it's not fair as we haven't had him long at all.

* ARFA UPDATE. WEDNESDAY 13:30 pm *

Arfa ate every bit of his greens last night I am delighted to say, he's had his meds this morning and although he seems alert he is a little bit quiet as he is on Vetergesic injections three times a day and they are apt to make them a bit drowsy. He is also on Septrin.

He hasn't eaten his carrot cruncher which he loves but that will be due to his mouth being sore from the two teeth the vet took out.

So at the moment he is doing ok

Such sad news.  But Arfa is a Tuckerbunny.  If there is any chance at all it will be as a TUCKERBUNNY!  Arfa will be loved and cherished.  He will be happy and have a quality life.  Perhaps, just perhaps there will be a miracle.

* ARFA UPDATE. THURSDAY . 16:54 pm *

Arfa ate all his tea again last night and he has ate all his breakfast this morning which is good news. He doesn't seem to be breathing as bad as he was but then I think the Vetergesic injections he's on may be the reason why, he's just so relaxed on them.

He doesn't seem to run round like he did he just seems to do a lot of sleeping.

His puppy crate arrived this morning so that will make thing's a lot better for him as we will not have to pick him up to put him in his play pen as he will have the puppy crate inside so he can come and go as he pleases.

So he's still doing ok
