It just seems so strange not having her here. She's now by the Japanese Maple tree, with the Angel and her bunnies, and a lantern that has burned all through the night, and is still burning now, even in the rain.

I can't understand what it is about the 11th. I lost Davie on the 10th, Skye on the 11th, Jessy Dog on the 11th, and Dolly on the 11th. It's getting a bit scary.

I really need to call the vet, but I don't know what to say. I'm worried I start sobbing down the phone again.

Marley is OK. I did let him see her, as that's also what the vets advised. He sat next to her briefly, before eating some of his tea, and then going back to her, before eating some hay. He went back to her again, and then went in the run. I know he understands that she's gone. He's eating OK, but is quiet and not as active. He's always sat on his house, anyway, but it's all he seems to do now. Sit in that one spot in the run. I'm sad that I bought them some wooden castles, mainly for Dolly, and she never got to use them. Marley hasn't touched them, either. What's worse, is she would be 5 this Sunday

I'm already looking at friends for him. I don't want him to be alone for too long.I want to see him settled with another bun by mid March, as I'm having surgery at the end of April, and won't have the same time to spend with him.

I am glad Marley was able to see Dolly - at least now he will understand what has happened

I am so sorry about Dolly. I have only just read this as I am not well at all at the moment so have not been on.

So sad, I know your pain, I am still crying most days over Dougal.

I miss Dolly, and its hard having another bun, but it is helping to see Marley happy again. xx

As one goes there is another little bun you are saving, it doesn't take the pain away love but you now you have a darling little life to love and look after.
