Grass (housing related - sort of)

Over winter, with all the numerous daily visits to the rabbits in damp conditions, the grass around the hutch and run is now just mud. It has no chance of growing back with us on it so much, so I've been looking at how we can stop getting so muddy and hopefully get the grass growing back. It was fine over spring and summer last year.

My mum's suggested this sort of thing which looks good as the light can get through and possibly allow it to regrow.

Just wondered if anyone had any other ideas? Whatever we use, we'll be proactive and get it down this winter before we destroy the grass again!

The grass grows well in it and you can't see it now. Plus buns cant dig through it.

I have a similar problem by our shed door.... Grass seed just gets trodden in and nothing happens..... (or Annabelle tries to eat it)

We have just scarrified the garden and the whole thing is looking awful and patchy, what I wouldnt give to be able to use some lawn repair (but cant for obvious reasons).

Im not always sure my efforts are appreciated by the terrible two...so its a good job I love them.
