URGENT!! Help and advice needed!

So sorry if this is in the wrong section, someone at my husbands work is 'getting rid' of their rabbits, they said if a home can't be found by next week then they'll have to put them to sleep!
I can't take them, is there anyone out there who can? we're in the north west area and can travel.

From what he knows, he thinks they are both girls, they've had them for 6 months and haven't had babies so that's a plus, he thinks they're out growing their hutch so god knows how small that must be.
Not neutered and not vaccinated.
He's gonna send me a picture so I'll know a little more then

Sorry I cannot help, but I hope you can find good homes for them.

I have a spare hutch (5x2x2 on two levels) but wont be back in Sheffield until Sunday and I would need to ask a certain lady very nicely for two waiting list places for rescue.

If things don't work out with you sooz and all else in your area fails I will meet you somewhere and take them, there is no way I could cope with them being put to sleep, when all I had to do was drive a few hours to save them - which when you love driving is nothing!!! (I'm in the West Midlands)

The owner is willing for me to take their hutch (unsure of size) and run, bedding, food etc too if hutch space can't be found

Well my geograohy is awful and I don't drive but if they can be got to 1. Sheffield after Sunday or 2. Lincoln before Tuesday next week (so Charlotte can bring them to me) then let me know and I will see about arranging rescue spaces.

I would recommend taking the hutch no matter what - you can get rid of it if it's no good/too small and save people using it again for bunnies, and if it's decent you can donate it to a much needed rescue!

I am available to take from Lincoln to Sheffield if that is any use? Although I don't know if that is geographical logical.

I can get them to Sheffield any weekend, just let me know where and when!

He said they're approximately 8 months old and are 'small and floppy eared' he'll send me a pic tomorrow morning, if you have a mobile number I can send you the pic when I get it cos I can't upload it to my pc. Also said they've never needed medical treatment but from what he's said, he's not particularly wise to the subject

I think not wise, sums him up perfectly!

They are coming to mine tomorrow afternoon, and will foster with me until there is rescue space available.
