Vibes for Bobbin Please - Bloat / Stasis

Bobbin didn't want his breaky this morning, I took him to the vet and they are keeping him in for the day to syringe feed him, giving him metacam and the drug to kick start his tummy (name escapes me ).

I know I haven't been on in ages but I know I can rely on your guys to send my little man some eating / pooing vibes

Roo is in with him to help him get better

Just had an update from the vet - he has taken the syringe feeding well, and has been spotted nibbling a little bit on his own - cheeky boy! But they think it's safer to keep him in over night so I will call again later to check his progress and hopefully collect him tomorrow

Hi guys, Bobbin is at home now, we picked them up about 8 last night. He's very spritely this morning although not eating his dry food, but he was tempted by a small amount of veg - and I think he's eating hay

I've had to come to work which is worrying but I might have someone check on him during the day. Fingers crossed he improves - I swear he will have started eating as soon as we left the house!

Oh yes, and he's pooing too, small but definitely poos! Yay!

I've only been once, but for anyone in the Northampton area, I can't recommend the Cat and Rabbit Clinic in Duston highly enough - they were brilliant with both of them - and the bill I got this morning I thought was actually very reasonable!

I know we're not out of the woods yet - so I just hope he is still spritely this eve and he runs for his dinner

I'm so pleased to hear he is on the mend, well done for getting him the help he needed so quickly

Hope Bobbin is still improving and is hungry for his dinner tonight

Bobbin is amazing and naughty - looking at him you would not believe it was only yesterday i was whisking him off to the vets! tut tut!

This eve he is doing great - ran to get his dinner as normal and has enjoyed some basil and kale too I'm really glad I've not had to continue the syringe feeding. Phewy!

Oh Thea hunny, I missed this whole episode! I am SOOOOO happy that little Bobbin is better now! When my Timmy went through this a while back, I nearly drove myself crazy worrying. Give the gorgeous little man.....and the lovely Roo, too!..... big nose rubs from me.....and tell Bobbin that Timmy says 'Hi!' xxxxx
