Same as 6 months ago, I was admiring the size of BJ and Rosie's poos and spotted some worms.

Where have they come from, the bunnies have not been on the grass this year.

I hate them. Thankfully I have some Panacur and the buns will be getting 18 days worth this time round - oh joy Sad

Yuk!!

I have just suffered a nine-day stint of giving Panacur. It was hell!

Oh wonderful. It's very odd though as actual intestinal worms are really quite rare in rabbits. scratch

I hope they clear up quickly. Smile

Fudge has been on his panacur-vet gave a 9day course but having spoken to Snowy we are going to opt for a 28day course.

I dont have any battle getting him to take it, I pop it inside a shredded wheat mini cereal piece with a fruit centre! and woohoo someone munches it quite happily-same approach used for getting baytril into him when I have to!

Anita was chatting about intestinal worms yesterday and said it may be worth you talking to your vet about an alternative de-wormer, as it is extremely uncommon for someone to have such a recurring issue with worms when husbandry isn't a problem.

Thank you Sooz for having faith in my husbandry but see below. I am however at the vets on Monday for boosters so will ask about treatment. Have not seen any worms in the litter tray for two days now, and have certainly seen less than last time round.

I do feel a bit rubbish today tho as took the buns along for a free health check with Kayj's bunny savvy vets. The local RSPCA had organised a Bunny Awareness day today. I knew that four of our buns have unevenly wearing molars but it seems that Hollie and Gabriel too are afflicted. I know they are all lionhead/crosses and they are prone to this but with six out of six affected I feel I am not doing right by them with their diets. I don't know what more I can do though.

It seems that Herbie is the only one tho that will need a dental in the near future.
