To old to have babys?

Hi! First, Im sory if my english is bad (Im from Croatia)

If a female is two years old, is she to old for hawing babys?? (has never been bred) ..I have look everywhere on internet and just can find the ansver. Thanks

Very few of us here have bred baby rabbits. The UK has a very big problem with unwanted rabbits so none of us here would want to add to the problem by having babies.
I do think though that 2 is too old for a rabbit to safely have a first litter.

Hello there, welcome to Happy Hoppers. First of all you need to ask yourself if there is a need for more baby rabbits in Croatia and would you have good homes for ALL the babies to go to.

In the UK we have a terrible problem with unwanted pet rabbits that end up being treated cruelly or dying due to neglect.

Secondly, is it fair to breed your rabbit. She is 2 now and has never had a litter. I would say that now is not the time to start breeding from her.

I don't think you should be breeding from your rabbit because as others have said, she is too old now. We don't recommend breeding rabbits in this country because there are so many rabbits needing homes and more baby rabbits make the problem worse.
