I am going to visit him at 11am, he is the same as last night brighter than when I brought him in and still eating/pooping. He has been given medication I don't remember what though

Trip and Scarlett are still fine but the vet is giving me panacur for them today x

If this helps at all our 19 year old cat was diagnosed with failing kidneys 12 months ago. She has been on medication since then and is still going strong. I so hope the same holds true for bunnies.

I'm so sorry you havn't had better news. I've lost two bunnies to renal failure, one was an old girl (7) and riddled with tumours so it wasn't a auprise when she started to exhibit symptoms but a few weeks after she died her partner (by now rebonded) started to loose weight and urinate & drink excessively. He was only 3. I'm trying to remember how long he lasted, we lost Pippa in the January and Bobby at the end of the summer (2008) so it must have been around 6-8 months. Both of them went peacefully in their sleep.

I'm so very sorry Becky, I just dont know what to say. Try to keep strong for all of them, I'll keep checking for news. Come on Beau, Be strong honey XX

Thank you all for thinking of my lad it means so much to me, he got a lot worse this morning and has now gone to the bridge I got to spend time alone with him before he was put to sleep and hold him as he went, it was very peaceful xxx
