Poor Prudence
This evening I've picked up a bunny who is said to be very aggressive..
Well here she is..the lovely and pretty Prudence
She has been on our waiting list a while and the other day her owner rang to say she had been taken to the vet as she had flystrike..luckily it was caught early and she has no damage, just a bit sore
She also has only one eye as the other was removed a couple of years ago after the guinea pig she lived with bit her and it abcessed..no wonder the poor girl is grumpy
her blind side
She will be speyed and vacs and then we are hoping some kind bunny lover will give her the home she deserves with lots of TLC

Re: Poor Prudence
She's a little stunner. I always found Lexie's lack of eye gave her very few real issues except for a inability to judge depth which meant she often ran into my leg when she ran towards me.
Re: Poor Prudence
I have found rabbits with sight problems can sometimes show defensive aggression
I think with her being a lop..so her ears get in way of what should be natural sight range, then losing one eye..her behaviour is to be expected until she feels really secure.
Hopefully with TLC while she is here and then in a new home, she should settle
She has eaten well overnight:)

Re: Poor Prudence
She seems to be due a bit of luck, so hopefully coming to you is just the beginning of a happier life. Hopefully you won't have her for long.
