bonding my trio and pair???? Empty bonding my trio and pair????

Post by Vince the bunny Sat Jan 29, 2011 2:48 pm

I just wanted to gain some experienced opinions on this really as I would like my 5 to share the trixie run during the day so the hutches and runs get a breather during the day and so all the buns can have a run around on the grass each day.
I would leave them in their respective hutches over night, but what are the chances of them co habitating the run together during the day?
I have a boy and 2 girls and a boy and girl group, all neutered.
thanks!

I think you need to bond them all together because if you bond them singly, then they have to go through it all again.

You would need a small area in neutral territory, loads of greens and food to keep them from killing each other and no litter trays so no territory to claim. I would also wear thick gloves and long sleeves and be prepared to get on top of any scraps really quickly.

Good luck.

Good luck with this, I would love to bond my two pairs, so will be interested to see how it turns out, if you go ahead with it. x

Thanks guys, might have to use the front lawn for this as they have been all over the back garden, also I think I'll need DH on standby too to help with any scrapping.

If I feel brave enough I might try this tomorrow and let you know what happened.....
