Have you heard of the UVIC bunnies?
The University of Victoria in Canada had many dumped rabbits in its grounds and was going to 'solve the problem' by killing them all! Many volunteers stepped in to save them and they were captured a few months ago and transported to various sanctuaries in Canada and the USA.
Now there's a new problem, and it affects the whole of the sanctuary that took in most of them....see below.
The city council in Whitehouse, Texas is trying to close down the beautifully set up Wild Rose Sanctuary where most of the rescued campus UVIC rabbits have gone, because one neighbor has complained about barking dogs.
Please sign the petition by 22nd FEB and as we are trying to stop this before it ever gets started and please forward to bunspace and facebook if you are members.
thank you for taking 2 mins to do this.
