I totally forgot to go buy hemp bedding for Chewy's litter today, and while the hamsters can wait until next saturday, Chewy's litterbox is super dirty.

Is it ok to use newspaper for a week? The ink isn't pet safe unfortunatly, but it's either that or clay cat litter.

I think clay litter is ok... Just read up and clay based is not safe to use, do you have any sawdust or anything?

Oh i dont know hun. I assume the ink we use here is pet safe as we never have any problems, is it different over there?

What about a nice thick layer of hay?
