Its that time of year again...

I live right next to RAF Waddington, and this weekend is the annual air show, which also means the annual upsetting of MY PRINCES!!! Everyone gets excited about "the vulcan" and "the spitfire", and in the distance I can hear Dambusters music, which is fine, but the racket from the aircraft flying is horrendous. Just as my princes are snoozing or nibbling grass, they are sent scattering by the sound of engines. This year I think I shall be phoning the Station Commander to register B-Ro and co's disgust....

I would just send her round to dig big holes in their airfield. Given an early start she could have the control tower down by lunchtime.

I quite agree with you and you can tell him from me that even in Lincoln, my pussies are sent scattering by a random A WAC aircraft. They will not appreciate a tornado giving them the willies.

Ugh, Reen, I know the feeling. Stupid big helicopters are always going back and forth over here training these silly naval types up on Dartmoor. Most annoying

Then every other year when the flippin bullocks do Music Of The Night up on the Citadel, it's like WWII has restarted.

And when Devonport Dockyard sounded its New Year sirens, it would remind me of the blitz Kathy!!

Its not an easy time when we have sensitive princes/pussies....

The racket has already started, and my roof has has nearly been taken off by low-flying planes....

They are stressed and so are by bunnies. The blimmin Red Arrows have been over that many times I feel like I should offer them an Earl Grey!

I think this is a disgrace. We have quite a few helicopters flying over us because of some flash k... who owns aircraft and helicopters, not to mention a string of cars. They are very noisy and startle my babies, luckily though, Snuffie seems to have got used to now.

We are 15 minutes away from Catterick Garrison and so we are use to helicopters and jets sometimes they are so loud and fly so low you can see the pilot
If I'm hanging washing on the line when one goes over they are so low I duck

They aren't supposed to fly below a certainly height are they love, a rule that I think is frequently ignored?

Living in a wood on a shooting estate I once had to cope with beaters yards from the house, up to 20 guns blasting away a couple of hundred yards off and gun dogs trying to flush my buns from their hutches every Sat. in Oct, Nov, Dec and Jan. That was when I had four buns living outdoors, the matriach of the group was Clawed and she believed as General Woundwort did that dogs aren't dangerous... she sent them packing with her growls and charges.

Good on her, I love matriarch buns !!!

She is wonderful, my Mr Snuffles is very feisty too and will put up with no nonsence.
