making a house bunny
So I brought our twinkle in today as she had been into something ungodly and stunk to high heaven, I gave her a was which she seemed to enjoy, thought she would have went mental but she just sat looking at me. Then after I toweled her off I kept her in the house till she was dry to go out. In the time it took her to dry off she hopped about the house then in her litter box having a poop and a nibble, twinkle has the loveliest face she looks like a cute fat child and I just wanna nip her . I love all my buns but I have a big weak spot for Twinkle and Roman so im thinkin of making her a house bun as I think she likes the house as its only her jasper and thumper who pops in when I leave the door open.
There is a few things thats gave me the idea of making her a house bun, stuff like shes a bit slow (to fat i recon) she is the one always being humped into submission, she loves being in the house and chasing the dog etc.... Im just thinking how I would go about litter training her. shall I get her one of them cat igloo box things or just keep her tray how would I get her to go in for a pee or poo?? and how would I know she is happy with this arrangement??

Re: making a house bunny
If she uses one already you may just be ok. Put her hay in it as buns like to munch and poo at the same time. To start with confine her to one area until you are sure she is using her tray and then make the space bigger and bigger over time. Don't change the tray now as it will just confuse her. If she consistently goes in another place then put the tray there.

Yeah, they usually work it all out for themselves. She'll probably poop on the floor as well as the tray, as she'll be establishing her terratory. If you keep picking the poops up,and put the in the litter tray, she'll get the message, as in the wild, they always poop in the same place.
Re: making a house bunny
I am sure she is a very happy girl to be inside with you.

Re: making a house bunny
Is she a single bun or part of a group? your post makes me think she is part of a group, if thats the case they should really be kept together, if she is happy in the group x
