Apple tree branches
Some guys are cutting down a bit apple tree in our car park at the moment so I just went out and asked them if they would cut me some smaller bits for the buns! They were very kind and did so but I just wondered, do I need to let the branches dry for a bit before I give them to the buns?

I just give mine them as they are, went out and chopped a branch of at about 2am this morning Ill put a pic up with my other ones I done last night. Our twink likes the bark better than the actual leaves, but the others just like the leaves xx

We give Daisy pear branches straight from the tree, I make sure there is none of that horrid greeny moss on their first and then off he goes!

Re: Apple tree branches
I always give them to mine straight off the tree, If Im making a dried mix I dry the leaves, but very often I just throw it in as it is!

Re: Apple tree branches
If you have an airing cupboard, you can lay them out on a tray lined with newspaper and just leave them. Alternatively, you can pop them onto a baking tray and put them into a really really low oven for a few hours.
