I'm pretty sure they can I've always given mine pear branches and leaves straight from the tree x

As long as they haven't been sprayed with anything.
I've always given my rabbits ash twigs straight from the tree.

this, as long as not sprayed, I cut them off our pear tree I do rinse under tap first then give, she loves them when juicy fresh inside the bark

My friend always gives hers straight from the tree as the tree is nowhere near any sprayed plants.  She gives me some somethimes and Holly adores them. Very Happy
