Tail Problem
Ok this may be nothing more than me being paranoid, but just want your input on it!
When I got home from work Florences tail was sticking out from her body, sort of erect and outwards. I got her out, checked her bum and was all clean. I put her on the sofa for a run around (when she ate the cushion) and she tucked it back in. However as soon as she went back into her cage it went all odd again.
She's pooing and eating normally, although I'm not going to give her any greens tonight in case it's something to do with that, but does anyone have any idea what this could be?! She's now 15 weeks old, if that makes any difference.

Re: Tail Problem
Are you sure this is not just her expressing herself? - buns tailes are every bit as expressive as their ears.

Re: Tail Problem
It could be, it's just she's never done it before. I'm fully aware I am probably being paranoid!!
Typically she wouldn't hop around for me to take a decent photo, she just wanted to be picked up, but I got a couple that sort of show it.
It almost looks like she wants to wee all the time

Re: Tail Problem
Yeh she's been drinking fine, she's a really good drinker. I'm about to change her water so I'll see how much she's drunk over night.
When I took the photos she did grunt at me too, but that could have been a "oi you going to feed me or what?" grunt. She's only ever grunted before when I'm trying to catch her to get her back in her house.
I'm just a bit confused about it.

Re: Tail Problem
She refuses to use the litter tray, if I put it in her toilet area she uses a different area! So I've given up for now, but she's peeing fine.
She hasn't eaten all her pellets overnight but is drinking and did eat a lot of hay. She's bombing around at the moment begging to be let out so she isn't feeling too ill I don't think, but her tail is still like that.
Its odd

Re: Tail Problem
Is her tail clean? Thumper holds her tail out like that when it's dirty and she needs a bath.

Re: Tail Problem
That was the first thing that crossed my mind, but its clean from poos. The only thing I'm half wondering is her wee does seem to smell quite strongly, so wondering if I've been giving her Proc-C too often. The last few days green food she's had has been spring greens, corinander, parsley and a teeny bit of celery and carrot.
I then wondered if it was something to do with her becoming sexually mature, and she was frustrated there was no boy rabbit about, but that's partly also to do with her naughty behaviour in the last few days.
When Thumper does it, is it poo dirty or wee dirty? Wondering if I shoul wash her anyway. She does have a habit sometimes of sitting in the wee corner

It's wee dirty. She sometimes sits in her wee and other times I think she wees in her sleep.
I would have a feel of her tail, see if it feels wet
