Re: Pellets
I was going to order from them as they do the hay my bunnies like and it is cheaper to buy in bulk from them than in my usual store.

Re: Pellets
I do
I feed the Breeder and Grower version.I really like it as has high fibre and low protien, all my rabbits do well on it (and its cheap too )
Some people have said that with the natural one, their rabbits have lost weight, the breeder/grower has a little more protien, but not too much so I use that one instead

Re: Pellets
Vivian, do you get stung for carriage on your A&P Pellets. I did have a look a couple of years ago but the carriage was going to be about £25!

Re: Pellets
NickieM, I did order off that website once, think it ended up coming out at about £20 so yes, but it is a really big bag so still lasts a while. Do you get megazorb? its just a wee bit smaller than one of those bags.
I buy it from horse feed suppliers now (get my hay from them aswell ). If you contact one they should be able to order it in for free for you

Re: Pellets
Thanks for that. At the moment I don't have any bunnies and am waiting til the Spring to get another pair, but would like to feed them on A&P if possible as its fibre content is so much higher and it is so much cheaper - so it's win win.
I have sent an email to the company explaining that my area is on the mainland and will see what comes back.
We do have an equine supplies shop where I usually buy hay, so will give them a bell too.

Re: Pellets
Lorna, did you see our article on pellets? http://www.hoppingmad.org/E3/pellets.htm
A lot of people use A & P and swear by them, I know Sooz does too.

Re: Pellets
Someone who owns a pet food store in Rothwell is going to have word with her supplier to see if they can get any in for me

Re: Pellets
The rest of my family is just changing onto the Allen & Page from Burgess Excel, and all seems well.
The reason for the change is that my Humum had heard such good things about them, and was pleasantly surprised to find they were so much cheaper than the 'posher' brands.
Our excellent local pet shop stocks them, and would have got them for us anyway (the same place who bought in a whole pallet of Megazorb at Humum's request )

Re: Pellets
Here is some info on the dodson and horrell food. I am thinking it is not ideal as it mentions it contains fructose and says it is ideal for fatenning rabbits up.
http://www.dodsonandhorrellpetfood.co.uk/rabbit-pellets
The Allen and page look better as long as you go for the natural not the grower pellets.
