Re: Violent bunny towards new arrival
Yea. We've totally dismantled her pen now. Our new query now, is food. She was on junior, herbs and very very little 'wet' food. Since the escape, she's nibbled a cauliflower (our tea!!) and eaten his food. Due to her age and the fact that wet food still gives her wet poo, should we have designated feeding times or just leave it as it is?? Any advice welcome.

No they're not. However, he's gone off for his usual sulk behind the chair bed and she's happily sat in HIS cage; eating HIS hay and drinking HIS water. Pics to follow!!!

Some Pro-c in the water may help the soft poo matters without creating feeding difficulties.

Re: Violent bunny towards new arrival
We are going through this now with Rosie and Murphy since she has had her op to remove a blockage her partner Murphy has become really nasty towards her and it's most upsetting to see, we are doing all we can to get them back together but he just sit's and stares at her and when she goes over and start's washing his head he will let her and then just pounces on her and pulls her fur out.
He is also trashing the indoor cage he is in all the time and has turned nasty towards Mike which is not like Murphy. I think it's a case he misses her but he is well annoyed at her to.
I think we may just put them in a pet carrier and drive them round awhile and try that. We need to know that they can be left together without them killing each other.

Ok. As she's only a couple of months old, will she be ok on adult food?

Re: Violent bunny towards new arrival
She should be. You can either mix the 2 foods together so they both get a mix or you could use the junior food as a treat food to hand feed to maintain your bond with her. The junior food is richer and is designed to support her has she is still growing.

Aw I'm sorry its coming to that. Hopefully he'll feel better once her surgical smell has gone. We kept a towel covered in Splash poo's & wee's unwashed and left it in Radar's living room when we went to bed. Would that help with Murphy?

I think we may try that as well, as I'm running out of what else to do
Thanks for this
