I have bonded Boo with the girls!!!!

Well, as per title! Boo is living with the girls in the play house!

It was one of the easiest bondings I have done, they have been sharing a play pen during the day with a partition and I had seen Boo grooming Hermione so yesterday I had an hour spare so I removed the partition. The girls just went about their business and Boo sniffed them and they all ignored each other. I picked some leaves off the apple tree and they ate those together and looked totally at ease with each other. I was sat in the pen just in case, the girls kept popping over for a stroke but Boo was almost telling me to bog off! So I left them to it, it was as if they had always been together

Funny thing was, when I took out the partition the trio came to watch. I turned around and all three were sat in a row, just waiting for it all to kick off!! After a while they started grooming themselves as there was going to be no fight, I took my cue from them and went inside for a cuppa tea.

Next, was what to do overnight as the bond had gone so well, I didn't want to seperate them, so I put them all in the playhouse together and it was as if Boo had always lived there. I put his litter tray and toys in there so he had his smell there too and he stayed there overnight. I checked them at 6am this morning and all is well, no signsof scuffles, no fur out of place so i conclude that this was the easiest bond in rabbit history

I am so glad it all went well, as Hazel and Vince didn't like him much when I put them together to see if Boo could live with them, so this is great that he is no longer in a guinea pig cage on his own.

I am feeling very happy this morning.

That is wonderful news. Glad it is going so well. Well Boo, you came in a cardboard box and now you have a harem and a mansion to live in! You're a lucky bunny.

I love the idea of the trio looking forward to a bit of a fight for entertainment. What a bad bunch they are.

Thanks guys, I have some pictures I'll upload them later. If only I could bond my trios together, they would have one hell of a home to live in Might move out there myself I don't think that would happen though, or maybe it would take several months rather than several minutes like my new trio.

I don't have to keep picking Boo up now which I'm sure he is happy about, he is following the girls cue and racing up and down the tunnel to see at which end I will materialise with treats, they learn quickly. I can't tell you have lovely it is to see him in all that space, his little mind exploring his new environment and with his two lovely wife buns for company

I've been sat in the garden all afternoon as the MIL and FIL have taken the children on an outing, and I've been watching my trios playing and foraging, what a lovely afternoon it has been.

I can't believe how easy the bond was, he didn't get along with Vince and Hazel but he really like the girls. I wasn't planning on leaving him overnight in their playhouse, I hadn't even neutralised it and cleaned it, he just went straight in. Perhaps the ground work of sharing toys with their scent on and being in the partioned play pen for weeks helped. I think their age has been a big factor, they are only approx 4 to 6 months old.
