CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
The Crime is discovered: Somebun has been digging in Humum's flowerpots!
The crack(ed) forensic team sweep the area for clues:
Dougal: 'Excuse me, old son - I think you may be sitting on a clue':
Taffy: 'Oh, how embarrasing. I appear to have a clue stuck to my bottom '
Taffy: 'You know, some lunch might help the progress of this investigation'
All: 'nomnomnomnom' and Graham: 'Hang about lads, some paparrazi is taking pictures of your bottoms!'
Right, we're rabbits with a short attention span and full tummies, so it must be time to reveal the results of our investigation...
It wasn't Poirot:
It wasn't Reggie:
It wasn't Ronnie:
It wasn't Dougal:
It wasn't Graham:
It certainly wasn't Mrs D (the very thought!):
Father Jack!: 'All right, all right, you've got me bang to rights. I admit, I dug in the flowerpots. Now, please, lock me up in solitary. Away from all these kids!'
Father Jack: 'Yep, a few hours in here on my own will do me nicely '

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
You are all so yummy!
I don't blame you at all Father Jack. I understand that in some countries that it is common place for dads to commit crime so they can escape their brood.

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
There are nine in The Colony - all pictured above, including camera-shy Smudge who is second from left in the second photo.icedancer wrote:How many of you are there in total?
Father Jack (Daddy), Mrs Doyle (Mummy), Poirot, Graham, Smudge, Ronnie, Reggie, Dougal and Taffy.
Here's a better picture of Smudge in all his handsomeness, alongside Ronnie (or is it Reggie? ):
Me and Rosie live separately in The Swiss Chalet. Mainly because Rosie is a 'character'

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
Ronnie, Reggie, Graham and Poirot are girls
Mummy and Daddy are 20 months or so, the rest are 8 or 9 months. They're offspring from two litters and all neutered. They have always lived together and get on fine apart from a bit of a rocky patch when a group of five went in for neutering and Humum had to do a bit of re-bonding afterwards. They have a huge shed with lots of levels, and whenever any of them want some peace they go up into the 'attic' - they also have free run of part of the garden, with a cat-flap into the shed.
Humum does keep a careful eye on them to make sure nobody gets bullied. There is the occasional bit of fur-pulling, but then you're equally likely to see them asleep together in a huge pile in a patch of sun

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
With names like Graham and Poirot I can't think why I didn't realise they were girls!

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
It took a bit of sorting out when they went in for neutering, I can tell you
Graham and Poirot were named a tad prematurely - in fact, they started out as nicknames, but stuck.
Ronnie and Reggie were also nicknames as they look so alike and are so mischeivous - but they couldn't possibly be called anything else!

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
I have spotted a few weak points in your pilot;
1. nobody wrote anything on a bit of glass propped up in the middle of the garden.
2. there wasn't a board with photos of all the suspects on and joined together with lines.
3. there was no flash touchscreen cod analysis of the minutiae of the evidence.
4. you'll have to recast so that the villain is one of those dastardly Netherland dwarfs.

Re: CSI Blackburn - the pilot episode
Well, at this time of year, apart from an hour or so in the morning and evening they mostly sleep. In summer Humum sits for ages in the bedroom window, watching them when they don't realise they are being watched - they can be quite entertainingKatieb wrote:I could spend hours watching their antics....how do you get anything done?
1) We were on a budget. Most of it went on lunchcheryl'n'bruce'flo wrote:I have spotted a few weak points in your pilot;

2) We had the board but Ronnie chewed the crayons then Graham buried them
3) We're not allowed fish
4) Keep it under your hat, but we're thinking of approaching DaisyB if the series gets commissioned

The CSI team will never catch him......he is a criminal mastermind....I still have no absolute proof it was him that ruined the rug.....only my suspicions.
