Snugglesafe stupid questions!! U/D Shock HORROR!!!
Thumpers snugglesafe has arrived
I have some stupid questions....
I assume it's ok to leave thumper unattended with it??? I hope so or it's a complete waste of time!
I just know she's gona pee on it, it's what she does I only have one cover, can I cover it with a towel if need be?
Thank you!

Im sure Maysie said on another thread that she knew someone who made covers? Perhaps you could ask her where to get spare ones x

That's what I'm planning to do with oursThumper2001 wrote:I've got a bad feeling she's going to eat the cover
Ours aren't here yet, but Humum has a sewing machine and is thinking of either making spare covers, or washable cushions the Snugglesafes can be zipped into the middle of as they are really really hard.
If you can wait a few days and see what she comes up with, I'm sure she'd be happy to make one for Thumper too.
We love Thumper

Re: Snugglesafe stupid questions!! U/D Shock HORROR!!!
Did you put it on the floor and tell her not to go anywhere near it, let alone sit on it?
I have heard that they're absolutely rock hard and a lot of people seem to need to put some padding on them to make them acceptable to their pets....

Re: Snugglesafe stupid questions!! U/D Shock HORROR!!!
Sometimes sliding them under the bedding helps as well, especially easy if you line the hutch with newspaper.
The covers will dry in a matter of hours on a radiator so I used to wash mine first thing in the morning, because I am afraid they do inevitably wee on them....repeatedly!

Hmm.... She is a bit of a princess
It is like a brick but I'm not sure how you can pad it so she still gets the benefit of the warmth
Btw, I laughed out loud at the first line of your reply

Re: Snugglesafe stupid questions!! U/D Shock HORROR!!!
Well, our Snugglesafes came. My Humum heated it up and zipped it inside my silky cushion and popped it in the hutch.
But she doesn't know whether I like it or not yet because I am hiding underneath where she can't get to me, as I am due a dose of Metaclopramide
