Vibes for Mrs D please
Humum and Hudad had to take Mummy (Mrs Doyle) to the vets tonight as she has been a bit quiet and subdued and not eating properly.
She's on Metaclopramide (yuk!) and Flagyl and has been injected with Loxicom, Metaclopramide and Zantac tonight. The humans have brought her in to keep her warm, and surrounded her with yummy foods. She gulped down her Flagyl out of the syringe (and wanted more ) and several ml of Pro-C water. Humum made up some recovery food with half-and-half apple juice and water and she took a bit of that out of a bowl and ate a few veggies. And one pellet.
She's feeling ever so sorry for herself so please send some nice healing vibes for my Mummy

Re: Vibes for Mrs D please
Thanks guys. Not sure why she seems to be getting a touch of GI stasis, but we wonder if it might have been a bit of stress. The younger boys have been removed from the Colony over the weekend as there was a bit too much scuffling going on. Mummy likes a nice quiet life. The smaller group of six seems quite peaceful now but we wonder if the scuffling upset her a bit. Hopefully the meds and a few days indoors will be all she needs.....

Re: Vibes for Mrs D please
Thanks all, she is a bit brighter today. She's eating veggies although not too interested in pellets or hay. They need to get some weight back on her, and if she was eating pellets they would give her junior ones, but she is being awkward. There's definitely plenty coming out of the other end too
Humum said she'll know when she's feeling a lot better... when it gets a lot harder to get the meds down her
