So I Was Thinking

As in a few weeks it'll be bonding time I need to stared preparing for the housing. So I thought of NIC Cubes, playpans and then I came across this for them http://ukpetsonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=413 or http://ukpetsonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=628 but it is a few inches smaller but has a bigger roof. This is for each trio.

They look nice. Hope they don't try to tunnel out! I'm AMAZED at how fast these little guys can tunnel. One of my fav rabbit videos is Howard's Big Dig

There all indoor bunnies so don't have to worry about that

I reckon that MAY look smaller than it actually is. Perhaps that, but attached to a dog crate or something may work better?

I measured the room so 2 of either will fit and then i'll add other stuff in there aswell. On the same site there is also a wooden house now that might be ok for the smaller buns but I don't think the bigger ones like Ryleigh and Alaska couldn't fit there big butts in there

Why not go for a puppy play pen instead? They are cheaper than the pen you linked to if you look at ebay. Do you need the roof? If you are putting 2 of those in your room, would it not just be better to devide the room with play pen panels? Much cheaper. As for a bed, for the bigger bums...oooops sorry, buns, could have a cardboard box instead? If you can't find one in your local supermaket etc, you can buy them from the post office (i've done that in desperation when insulating a hutch in prep for a sudden cold spell.) Or you could get hold of some small 3ft hutches or dog kennels?? Just some thoughts.....

Problem is I need roofs particularly for little miss alaska, she jumps out of tall things I shall be using their old cage bottoms for litter trays and hay holders.

Oh I see what you mean, the puppy pens do come up quite high though. I'm quite lucky with my buns, they can easily clear the pens but choose not to, luckily for me

If Alaska sees the chace to jump out the top, she will She's a monster.

They look ideal Lorna, as long as they can stand fully upright, the height should be ok (good price too!)

I just realised... I'm going to have move the big chest of drawers *sigh*
