weight gain
Our twink has put loads of weight on after being spayed, shes out all day and although she can eat a tattie more than a pig we try and keep it to the recommended amount with her. She still can run about clean herself etc just wonder if anyone else has experienced this ?
Re: weight gain
It may be time of year. I always find Flo bulks up a bit in the spring - guess in preparation for babies - and then loses it again by about May. Her weight certainly fluctuates more than Bruces.

It's normal for females to put weight on after a spay but just keep your eye on her and make sure she doesn't get to overweight, we have noticed Lucy Rose has put a lot of weight on since being spayed and we have reduced her pellets .

Re: weight gain
As the others have said it does happen that rabbits have a real tendency towards weight gain after neutering.
Keep to the recommended amounts of food until the weather warms up and then once she goes through her spring moult, if she is still overweight, cut her pellets down and increase her hay for a while.
