Aww she is really cute. I'm glad she was OK as you were worried about her when she disappeared. I love robins and their song is just gorgeous.

There are some stunning photos of her on the other thread
I'm glad she is still around. No doubt you'll have to help supplement her babies' diets in the spring

She had a bad leg last Summer and I honestly think she came to us for help as she loves suet pellets and so we put a load out for her each day while her leg was bad and she would fly away with them so we presumed she had babies somewhere to feed. If I see her I do a certain whistle and then put out the suet pellets and she knows it's for her.

Re: Roberta the Robin is still around
Only got one robin coming to my table... But got masses of Blackbirds (28 first thing this morning) and so many tits it's impossible to count.
I love my robins, can't understand where they have all gone, normally there are at least half a dozen and they are such tough guys, so I know it's not the high number of blackies putting them off.
There are six goldfinch regulars at the niger seed and a couple of jays ground feeding alongside a lonely magpie and nine or ten pheasants!
It's so cold today, but they are still singing!
Put some egg custard out for the badgers last night but too cold for them to venture as far as my house but a beautiful vixen was very grateful for the treat!

I do wish you would treat yourself to a digital camera, Woodwench...

Maysie.... Just had another look at Roberta's pics... Are you aware that you have had a Yeti trampling around in your garden?
