Im feeling a lot better now

Maggie went to her new home on Wednesday evening. Shes been renamed Xena...dont like it, but what can i do? At least shes going to be well looked after and has a husbun. The bonding is going well. Fiver humped her a lot until she made him realise that she is the boss and thats the way it has to be! They look like a lovely pair. I will add some on here at some point, im hoping to do a video when i get chance. Thankyou Maysie and Mike for letting me borrow two of your cages. Ive cleaned and disinfected them, had to use Bartolene to get the news paper print off the bottom!! Ill keep them for a bit longer, just incase anything goes wrong, but ill try and get Dad to bring me and the cages back. Would be nice to see Lucy Rose if i get the opportunity.

As for my trio. Thankyou Maysie (AGAIN!!) for the advice. Ive gutted everything with trigene, put their water in bottles, keeping all hay and food in racks/bowls and generally trying to keep on top of everything so it stays spotless. My vet said it does sound like worms and to worm them and keep an eye on their appetite and weight. Skye will be 1 on the 23rd!! Shes still only teeny weeny, but shes put a bit of weight on and has reached 1kg. She also seems to be warming to me now too, and doesnt mind being fussed over or handled, as long as its not for too long!!

Bit of a random thread really, but my last one was a bit of a winge so wanted to post something nice instead Hope everyones buns are happy and healthy and that the weather is as nice everywhere else as it is here!! Spring is finally in the air!

Oh glad Maggie has settled into her new home and I wish her all the luck. Just looked at Maggies page with Mike and it's lovely and what a lovely couple Maggie and Fiver make, two gorgeous buns together.

Not in a hurry for the indoor cages back so don't worry about that, Mike will gladly collect he said save your Dad bringing them but you are more than welcome to come and see Lucy Rose (she's on a diet like me ) and the rest of the Tuckerbuinnies you know that

The buns should be ok after being wormed don't worry

Really lovely to get an update on them all. They are such a gorgeous bunch i really love hearing all about them.

Well im very greatful Maysie I will have to come and see you and the buns some time. Maybe the Easter holidays if Dad is off work, or i could go to Darlington.

Katie, i dont need any thanks off Maggie, she was a pleasure to have - most of the time! Shes such a lovely bun, ill really miss her, but i definately dont have to worry about her anymore.

Thumper2001 - Yes, i cant help but call her Maggie!

I saw on her facebook page she's now Xena, na she'll always be Maggie!! Me and hubby decided about five years ago when we get a dog she'll be Maggie, and now when we mention getting a dog we always say when we get Maggie. It's a bit sad really!! It's much nicer than Xena.

Carla, i think Maggie is a nice name for a Dog! I do the same thing. Any animals ive planned on getting in advance have had names before ive even seen them! - Marley was my first rabbit and was an impulse (naughty!) and Dolly was also unplanned as she didnt look quite right, so i brought her home that day. I wont be doing that again! But Skye was planned and so were the gerbils and they all had names before i saw them.

I am glad she has settled in love, she sonds very happy.
