My chest sounds fine, it is only in my nose still. I have a course of four jabs (one every 3 days) and need to keep going in the spaceship for now but she's not all that worried. She was pleased to meet Gizmo and thinks having a husbun will help me to be less stressed. Well, he was on his best behaviour...

My nose now looks completely clear and I am not sneezing

I have one jab to have tomorrow, which Humum is going to give me anyway, and she is going to keep on with the nebuliser for a week or so, then cut it down to one session a day, then reduce to 15 minutes and hopefully stop altogether as long as the nasty bug does not flare up again

This hot weather is not good for me - I've been a bit snotty again this week

Humum has kept an ear on me and she can tell by my sneezes that it is travelling higher in my nose again, so it's back onto the anti-biotics from tomorrow. She's going to ring the vet and see if she wants to see me, or if she is happy to just prescribe another course. It's not the weather for being put in a hot box in a hot car really, although Humum would quite like the vet to have a listen to my chest.

I'm being nebulised twice a day and that is helping - the Bisolvon keeps the snot nice and runny - if it thickens up I could be in real trouble. Humum put me and Gizmo outside when it was cooler yesterday evening and she could see that I could not get as much breath into me as I wanted to, to be able to run around.

*sigh* poor Sparky

Poor Hope who use to be nebulised was always worse in Summer and the other's would be in the runs playing and poor Hope would be in her spaceship being nebulised. We also used Bisolvon and an inhaler which we use to spray into the nebuliser .

So sorry to hear this Sparky ! Tell the hu-parents that you would be
much better if you had an air conditioner. It would keep the heat and
humidity to a comfortable level for you. The amount of extra $$ on the
electric bill might be offset by lover vet bills.

I'm still quite bright and not moping, so Humum is quite happy that it's still only in my nose. I do have the energy to give Blankie a right duffing up when I am in my spaceship

She's going to ask for a 21-day course (7 jabs) and see if we can knock it right back. I'm so much less stressed than I used to be, and there should not be any major stress triggers in my immediate future, so she hopes that if I get a bit of help now I'll be able to fight it.

She's also heard of an op where they drill into the nasal cavity and clear the infection out at source, then treat the cavity itself with abx for a period of time before allowing it to heal over. I'm not sure I like the sound of that
