skippy freaked
i had skippy in the run yesterday and did not think about it and picked him up to go back indoors as it was flopsy's turn and forgot i was not wearing a t shirt and skippy freaked out a bit and his claws have badly cut my chest in lots of places it really hurt and bled i yelped but would not let him drop so quickly took him indoors, he sulked for about half an hour but was okay afterwards i think he realised he hurt me and felt guilty

Re: skippy freaked
I have been scratched a few times too. Mr Snuffles is generally pretty good but I have had bunnies in the past who have left their mark and it is very painful.

Re: skippy freaked
I carry mine with their head tucked into my left side of my waist looking out behind me and my left arm supporting their bum. Leaves one hand free and stops them scratching and kicking. When I put them down, I do so backwards so their back legs are still facing away from me ad \I gently lower them to the floor, stops them leaping out of my arms and kicking/scratching again. Boo used to make stiffled scream sounds when lifted when I first had him, but how he is totally relaxed with being picked up and his body goes all floppy and calm instead of a buckarooing maniac
Probably looks like I have them in a bunny headlock, but I carry all of them like that and \i'm sure they feel safe and secure like that
