I knew something had happened because there isn't normally a build up of traffic there. I saw you lying on the road. All those people were trying to help you but I could tell without getting out of the car that there was nothing they could do for you.

I'm sorry that someone didn't see you coming and I hope that it was quick, so that you didn't suffer. I think those nice people were taking you away, hopefully to find your owner(s), so they can say goodbye to you.
