Oh no, that is hard for you. See what your vet nurse suggests.

If he's not suffering, you have the option not to go ahead with the operation and just monitor his quality of life. If he's doing ok for now, then Friday does not have to be set in stone....

This is very true. As long as he's happy and pain free then that's the main thing.

Re: Charlies not looking brilliant :(
Trouble is he is suffering with the lumps on his jaw and his eye. His eye is useless and painful so that will need to be removed asap if we decide to give him a chance.
When he has off days it almost makes my decision easier, because he seems so unhappy and ill. But when he is okay like today it makes it so much more difficult
Basically, a decision needs to be made for him by friday really, wether thats to try and get him through an operation..I can't leave him without treatment for his eye and abscesses any longer as he is suffering with these, or wether to let him go now before things get even worse.
BUT its just a case of wether he will come out of the operation, and then if he does, he is so very underweight, how will he cope to eat with a cut throat and jawbone..surely thats bad enough for an otherwise healthy rabbit...let alone for Charlie

Oh honey what a tough decision.
If he has been feeling well today and you decide to let him go think of it like this - his last day was lovely and happy rather than in pain or frightened.
Sending you love xxxx

I'm really sorry you're having to make such a tough decision. I can imagine how his good days make you think twice about it.
I'm thinking of you whatever decision you make

That is a lovely way to think of it. It would be nice if the
vet would come to you so he could be laying there in the
sunshine. I wonder if vets ever do?
Thinking of you.

I'm sorry I've missed this. I'm so sorry to hear of the difficult decision you're having to make, but I'm sure whatever you decide it will be the best thing for him. I'm thinking of you both at this difficult time
