Hughie - 1 year old, English
Name - Hughie
Location - Middlesbrough/Cleveland
Gender - Male
Age - 12 months
Breed/Colour/Size - 2.3Kg English
Vaccination Status - Fully Vaccinated until June 2013
Neuter Status - Neutered 29/06/2012
Any known health problems - No known health problems. Will be vet checked again before leaving.
Temperment - Friendly but nervous, hes showing signs of being an inquisitive young bun.
Indoor/Outdoor - Hughie currently lives outdoors, but can be rehomed as an indoor or an outdoor bun. Outdoor accomodation must be min 6x2x2 hutch with large attached run. Free range time will be taken into consideration. Indoor homes must be able to provide a large, safe area with a suitable base or a pen of at least 12sq ft with a large free range area.
Any Equipment Also Offered - Hughie will come with a small carrier and an adoption pack consisting of veterinary records, change over food, RWAF leaflets etc.
Any Other Information
Hughie was very nervous when he arrived, he did not like his head, face or ears being touched. We suspect he was mishandled and picked up by his ears. Though he can be a little jumpy, he is now much more inquisitive and likes a head rub, but sometimes flinches when you touch his ears or cheeks. He used to be a childs pet, so we would prefer a home with older children or where adults set strict boundaries. His new home must be patient and willing to give him the time he needs to regain his trust, but im sure he will become a plucky member of the family. Hughie would love a spayed female companion to play with and help him come out of his shell.
Homechecks will be done, and a donation of £40 will apply. I am a private individual rather than a charity and have paid for Hughie to be vaccinated, treated for fleas, wormed and neutered. The money will go towards his vet bills or into helping other rescues.

Re: Hughie - 1 year old, English
Hughie is still looking for his forever home. He has had more interest of late, but unfortunately, none of the homes were suitable as they were unwilling to make any changes to accommodation.
He has now been waiting for 3 months for a home. He had another health check yesterday and hes fab. Hes put weight on and is now nice and healthy, his teeth are also fine and he has gained so much confidence, especially since getting his little run attached. He isnt as nervy around children as we thought, but he still needs to go to an experienced or adult only home where he can continue to build his confidence.

I still have the flyers about him up on my kitchen unit and a few people have looked at him, I've a couple of customers with a female English spot due in and I am hoping that
they might see Hughie as a potential Hubby for their lone female's, so fingers crossed, I will do my very best to work the magic for you and get Hughie the forever home he deserves

Re: Hughie - 1 year old, English
Hughie is still looking for his forever home. He has been here almost 6 months now, with little to no interest in him.
I was really hoping he would find a friend before winter.
