Tarp not working
Its been so windy that its pulled up half the tarp from the staples, creating a sail, which is making an awfull racket, poor charlie is scared his ears are right back & he looks sooooo grumpy, the other 2 are huddled together in their hutch, reserved corrugated plastic sheeting, going to get that today, but cant find curved washers on homebase or B&Q wont be able yto install it till get these washers, grrr plus will need to buy more 2 x 2 tomorow from wood yard to add to frame for extra support, especially if cat decides to walk accross it. Hopefully no more heavy rain is forcasted for next few days.

Re: Tarp not working
The sun is out here today and we would love to mow the grass as it's awful but it's just soaked

Re: Tarp not working
Curved washers??? Do you mean cup washers?
Hudad says just use penny washers, or mudguard washers as they are sometimes called. Just like a normal washer only around three times the diameter.
For a #8 screw, you want an M5 mudguard/penny washer, for a #10 screw you want an M6 washer. You can use normal countersunk head woodscrews too

Re: Tarp not working
I've given up with blimmin tarp. Either the water catches on the top and creates a sagging puddle, or the wind gets under it and the run (and buns) are at risk of flying high into the sky
