Oops...
I'm having difficulty seeming to remember to close Nibblers indoor pen before going to bed at night. I woke up this morning to a bunny chilling on the sofa! I bet he was having the time of his life out all night, he did not seem happy at being shut in again when I had to leave for work I think I'm going to have to leave a note on my pillow to remind me to check, I've almost missed it 3 times this past week but last night was the first night I actually forgot. What's surprised me is the lack of destruction, there's only one skirting board which was nibbled to death and will need replacing! Starting to wonder whether he's successfully hidden something which I will discover when I get home.. any destructor buns out there been giving him lessons on how to hide his activities?

Re: Oops...
Bless him!!! Did you take a picture of him chilling out?
I'm a bit obsessive about making sure Molly and Junior's is locked up. I shudder to think of the damage they could do if left to their own devices
Sounds like Nibbler wasn't too badly behaved! He must have been too comfy on the sofa!

Re: Oops...
Unfortunately not, when he saw me he jumped down to race over to ask for his morning noms straight away!
I'm normally quite good at making sure he is secure, it's just this new pen keeps getting me, I think because the door is small it's easier to miss that it's open.
He has his moments but in general I think I'm blessed with a fairly well behaved bunny. Starting to think all of the naughtiness he does when me and my OH are around is purely for attention!

Re: Oops...
Humum nearly forgot to close me and Gizmo in the other night - she just happened to glance in the room and realise our pen was still open.
You don't want to imagine the destruction Gizzy could cause overnight
I'm really impressed with how little damage Nibbler has done

Hehe I don't think I do! Thanks Sparky, but I don't want you giving him any of your lessons now to bring him back to normal bunny behaviour
I saw in a shop the other day tiny armchairs for toddlers... you have no idea how close I came to buying Nibbler his own, they were the perfect size for him! Think my OH would have gone mental if I had. He doesn't need one anyway, not with his 3 seater

Re: Oops...
If his name is anything to go by, youve been very lucky that you only found a nibbled skirting board!
Bless him, i think this would make me want to let him free range all day. Ive been wondering how i can achieve it with Marley and Dolly this winter, but im so scared i will come home to something completely destroyed and be in BIG trouble.

He was free ranging in the old flat, but as the new flat was new and everything had to be discovered and nibbled, we couldn't trust him with this one unsupervised. I think it'll be a case of when it's no so new anymore I'll conveniently "forget" a few times before I can convince the OH to let him free range again

Oh Maysie, why did you have to post that link? I have visions of Willow kicking back on that now. Sooo tempting. No, she really doesn't need another bed *slaps wrist* It would look adorable though...

Re: Oops...
I'm in love with that sofa! At some point, I don't know when.. he will have his own (he practically does now anyway, it makes me giggle when me and my OH are sharing the 2 seater and Nibbler jumps on the 3 seater and has it all to himself)
