Yesterday's news, so far it seems really good, my only concern is that it says on the pack it's newspaper and sawdust, do you think it would be a problem?

Other things in the world of Hector & Zo, I'm finding caecotrophs again :/ I'm a bit baffled really because he's had hardly any pellets for the past few days, he's been eating loads of hay. I'm starting to change him over to the science selective adult as I have a sample pack.

It may be the hay you are feeding, when Marshall was a baby i was feeding him on meadow hay and was finding caecotrophs, changed his hay to Timothy hay and it stopped almost straight away.

Are you feeding him anything else treat wise?

Well I have a 9.5kg bag of hay to use up so he's just going to have to deal with it if it is! No he doesn't have any other treats at the moment

Why not buy a small bag of something else for a few days just to see if that is the cause if not, you can rule it out.

As I said before - I would put money on the problem being the pellets. Get him onto adult selective and I think it will probably stop. He is also at an age where he will over produce cecals and his stomach won't be 100%. If I remember correctly we talked you into Ings hay - there should be no problems with that at all, it is really good stuff. Ultimatey you don't want to be changing his hay around too much as you want him to keep eating it. You could try adding in one of the herby hays that are around but I wouldn't change the core product there.
