what foods shall I start hector off with?

He not only turned his nose up at parsley, but he also backed away from it as though it was dangerous currently he is being introduced to mint, which he loves. I want to get him on something non herby so he gets a bit of variety, what would you recommend?

Willow absolutely loves Romaine Lettuce. I don't know if that is her personal preference but maybe you could give it a try?

Other favourites of hers especially are green beans and curly kale

Spinach should only be an occasional treat as it is high in calcium and can cause kidney/bladder stones.

I always think celery is a safe option.. at least it didn't take much persuation to get Nibbler to try it and he loved it (though just remember to cut the celery down in to little chunks if you do give it him). Carrot tops are always a massive hit too. If you want some amusement, give him some pepper the first time Nibbler tried that it really tickled me as it was so unusual to him, but he really does love his pepper now
