A question about spraying Empty A question about spraying

Post by paullp Mon Oct 22, 2012 6:25 pm

Hi Everyone,

Patch still sprays. He gets excited and runs up and down near Myrtle, then jumps and sprays her. She doesn't seem to like it much and I don't think it is helping the bonding process -would spraying hinder the bonding?

He will do this 3 or 4 times a day. We hoped it would have stopped by now as he was neutered on the 5th Sept.

If he continues like this he is going to have to be an outdoor bunny. Our house is covered in folded out cardboard boxes now!

Myrtle used to smell lovely...now she smells of wee...and so does our house pale

May I suggest you spray him back - literally. Get one of those garden sprayers (unused) and fill with water. When you see him start spray him with water. He needs a prompt to realise that this is unacceptable behaviour.

What Cheryl said! Squirt! Squirt! Just not the ears! Avoid the ears! Water in their ears can cause problems.
