Can I have some vibes for Willow and Mojo please! :(
I'm not sure which or both of them has, but there is some dreadful poo tonight. It is just coming out in soft chains and really smells. Lots of uneaten caecotrophs
I think it could be a combination of them not eating as much hay as they were fussy about the bale stuff (they have got a pet shop bag now which they're tucking into like normal), and possibly because I stupidly gave them some carrot last night which Mojo has never had so might have overdone it.
No pellets or veggies tonight for them, they're not going to be very happy bunnies! Will see if they've picked up on hay only for a day or so, and am off to the pet shop tomorrow anyway so if not will pick them up some Pro C.
In the mean time, could I have some vibes for whichever (or both!) poorly bun(s) please?

Oh Sparky they will be pleased to know they can still have their crunchies even if pellets and veg are a non-starter tonight!

Thanks
I will give them each a crunchie tonight before I put them to bed. I went in to top up hay racks earlier and there was some much healthier looking poops, so I think either one of them only has the tummy trouble or they've made an extremely remarkable recovery with all the HH vibes! Still, hay only for a day or so I think.

Re: Can I have some vibes for Willow and Mojo please! :(
They do seem to be drinking a little less Maysie
The poops look to be slowly coming back to normal although very small and still quite soft (sorry if TMI!)
Mr Mojo seems a bit under the weather. He's not really happy today bless him. Still, if the poops weren't beginning to improve I'd be more panicked than I am. He is still pooping, eating and drinking (even if a little less drinking than normal) and I think he is just feeling a bit sorry for himself
I'm going to pick them up some Pro C tonight. It won't hurt Willow will it? I'm pretty convinced she is ok.
Thanks for the vibes

If they are not drinking enough water they could be slightly dehydrated which means they will be lethargic and may not eat, if they have just water bottles put down dishes of water to and if you can syringe feed them some water I would do. In a rabbit that doesn't drink enough their poop's are dry and can be a lot lighter colour

Re: Can I have some vibes for Willow and Mojo please! :(
My two have a really big bowl full of water - I'm not really keen on water bottles. I will see how they go but if it continues I will syringe feed them some, although I'm not sure Mojo is going to like that too much

Re: Can I have some vibes for Willow and Mojo please! :(
It could be any number of things Rob. Maybe the fireworks, a bit too much carrot when I gave them some the other night. Maybe it's because they weren't eating anywhere near as much hay as it was the bale stuff which they didn't like... could be any number of things!
For now they are both ok though and not in any imminent danger

Pro-C won't do Willow any harm at all, and we have found it can encourage buns to drink more as they like the taste

The buns are lots better today!
Poops almost completely back to normal - so relieved as I am away this weekend and I wouldn't want to leave my mum with a pair of poorly buns.
