Bella is at the vets :(

Hi everyone, Hope you all had a good Christmas and new year!

Bella is at the vets Pickle is with her too to keep her company, Basically she needs an x-ray on her foot as my cousin accidentally stood on her front left foot last night wearing boots and she had been limping and holding it up ever since , we took her to the vets this morning, unfortunately could not see John so saw somebody called Jo basically she could not tell really if it was broken without an x-ray so we've left her and Pickle so she can have an x-ray on the foot to see if it is broken, and also to see how her heart is . vibes please

Sending vibes for Bella. I wouldn't feel too concerned about not being able to see John, I am sure he would also need to X ray to confirm if there was a break in the foot. If you look at xrays of rabbits feet you realise that there are lots of very small bits that can be broken that you cannot assess just by feel.

And ultimately if the vet works with John then she is going to see a lot of rabbits and be reasonably knowledgeable.

John rang earier , good news , thankfully Bella's foot isn't broken , just a bit of tissue and a bit swollen , also if you remember me saying about her heart problems, well her heart has shrunk so the fortekor is working really well! Got to up her metacam though and go back in a week hopefully she will be waking on if lt properly by then collecting them later on
