Mike just opened up Lucy Rose's indoor hutch to this.....
'Baby' Lucy Rose's soft bunny toy drinking water , honestly that is what we found and I took a photo. Baby is now sat drying off on the radiator.
Mike always sit's Baby at the back of Lucy Rose's hutch so she must have knocked him and he fell face first in the water dish
I love the way Lucy Rose just sat there while her poor soft toy was drowning

My two do it with their poor dinosaur. It's awful behaviour isn't it
I had a female hamster years ago who had this little pink woodgnaw in the shape of a pig. She thought it was her baby and used to put it in the food bowl, put it under the bottle, carried it to the wheel. Then one day I accidentially threw it away during a cage clean I felt awful!

I have accidently thrown loads of toys away when I've been cleaning out and then I spend ages looking for them and I don't know how many brushes I have thrown away by mistake that were on the top of the muck tub and I have emptied it all into a bin bag for the tip

When Molly and Junior were separated for neutering I bought them a puppy teddy each from Asda. They're good because they have no stuffing or beads for eyes etc.
Watch for the squeakers though, I didn't realise until after I bought them that they had them in the heads so we had to cut them open and take them out.
