Fenugreek

I found some interesting information on the herb Fenugreek. This was an article on human metabolism, but since bunnies are mammals it may well hold for them as well. So off I went to Googlelandia and low and behold there was information on Fenugreek lowering fasting blood sugars in rabbits. The rabbits were of course test subjects in a labs of the various researchers.

What might that mean to us rabbit slaves? If you have an ill rabbit and it's hypoglycemic do NOT give it Fenugreek chrunchies.(Sorry Sparkykins) If you have a diabetic rabbit then Fenugreek chrunchies might be an excellent snack for them as long as they are at regularly given times. Their systems seem to thrive better on 'structure'.
