Molly scared the bejesus out of me this morning :(
My in laws are moving into a new house at the moment and last weekend OH took home an inner roll from a carpet for them to nibble on (cardboard). It's really narrow and not for one minute did I think anybun would attempt to go through it. Wrong
I looked up this morning to see Molly three quarters of the way in it and trying to squeeze her bum in
I screamed "MOLLY NOOOOO!" and she thankfully pulled herself back out. I never realised, one of the treat balls had rolled up it and she was trying to get to it. I dread to think what would have happened if she'd managed to get in it. There's no way she could have got out again because she wouldn't have been able to get the same traction on it that she was able to use on the carpet to push herself in. I guess she would have panicked when she realised she couldn't get back out. I don't think it would have ended well
Needless to say, the offending item was swiftly removed!! OH was climbing into his van as it happened so I called him back and told him to take it away with him!
Silly Molly
And stupid us for not realising this might happen

Don't feel bad. I'm sure you would have never given it to them if you thought this would happen.
I'm glad Molly was okay
I did something similar last night. I moved my chinchillas into Willow's old metal run, thinking I could use that as their new home instead of buying a totally new one. How wrong I was. I went up to check on them late that evening and found that my one chinchilla had managed to squeeze through the bar spacing and get out (it really isn't very wide!). My other chinny had totally mangled fur on his head from trying to do the same...
It is frightening when you see stuff like that.
