Re: Blood or funny coloured wee?
Foodstuffs can make their pee funny colours. Obviously you need to check other things before you dismiss this. If it continues for a day or so and you know that they haven't had anything new, but you are still still worried then check with your vet.

Re: Blood or funny coloured wee?
I have read that if you soak up 'red wee' on a paper towel, if there is blood content it will not soak into the towel the same way as the actual wee so you would have kind of a stringy or different texture from the blood part... so from that first picture, it doesn't look like blood. There might be different types of/reasons for blood in urine that make this not accurate though, so it's just 'something I've read on the internet'
Edit to add: I'm the person that accidentally voted "blood" by the way, it was meant to be "wee"

Re: Blood or funny coloured wee?
The first time I saw that color of wee I freaked out. The vet said it was just his diet and that all was well. I was still not convinced so he ran a test on it to show me. Every rabbit we have had has done this from time to time. It is an indication of too much calcium in the diet. Has he eaten spinach lately? The article from House Rabbit Society should explain it well!

Re: Blood or funny coloured wee?
I keep thinking I need to go into B&Q and get a colour chart for Ruffins since she had a sludged up bladder its a different colour each day Carrots, apple, Blackberrys they all send it a different shade even bits of ginger fur in it when she has bitten the cat I think. She does bleed quite a bit but that is very red in colour the Vet told us we could expect that from time to time and she allways goes off her food the day before

Re: Blood or funny coloured wee?
Binky's wee changes colour sometimes hun, as said above, it may depend on what they have to eat.
