Very hot here in Cornwall, which is quite a novely as we tend to get far more than our fair share of rain. Checking on Binky Boo every few minutes but I am glad to say he is fine at the moment.

My 2 are really enjoying an afternoon in the garden. In the shade that is! Alternating between lazy binkies and lying close up to a frozen pop bottle!
Just wish the local thugs would sod off with their motorbike - they ride it up and down the path near our house, revving it and riding far too fast. It disturbs our peace!

They are a b..... pain aren't they love? We have one around here who thinks the noise somehow makes him more of a man (yes right!!).
We are keeping a close eye on all our babies but everyone is fine at the mo.

Myrtle is doing ok, it is a lot cooler indoors with the curtains shut but we have given her icy bottles as well.
Patch loves the heat and will find the warmest place in the hutch its a bit worrying. Daisy struggles with the heat and will flop on the stone tiles.
They both have icy bottles along a whole side of the run and a tarp for shade. We have been misting their ears with cold water regularly, they didn't like it at first but now they love it!
Also putting reflective material on the roof of the hutch and run to reflect the heat has made a big difference (it was the insulation from winter that usually goes inside!).
And they have a blanket hanging over one side of the run for shade, this blanket gets soaked with water and helps to keep the run cool as it evaporates - which is very quick in this heat!
They have all been nomming treats - roses and hazelnut branches/leaves.

You can't please some buns. Bruce's ears have been quite warm compared to Flo's -well he does have a thicker coat. I have provided them with frozen bottles and cool blocks, wet towels draped over furniture and over a frame outside. So every opportunity for him to cool down. He pushes the cool blocks/bottles away and refuses to sit under the towels. He seeems to be revelling in being hot and grumpy!
