I've got a bit of a dilemma
I found a flea on myself today, I had suspected there was one hanging around somewhere because I've been bitten. So I need to spray my room with flea stuff to kill them, but obviously hector lives there too! Should I take his entire cage out then spray? Or just take him and his toys, bowls, litter tray etc out and spray?
Do you think it would be a good idea to get some ivermectin for hector just in case? I haven't noticed that he's scratching more but I'd rather treat him as a precaution

Whatever you use you will have to take the rabbit out of the room and then spray the room shut the door and leave it for a few hours.
I have found this about Fleas on Rabbits I know Hector has probably not got them but thought it may help

Can I leave his cage in there while I spray or should I take that put too?

If you can get it out easily I would take it out to be on the safe side if you can't I would throw a fleece or something over it while you spray

Remember-with fleas you have to spray two weeks later as well!

I can't help with the fleas, but Hector did say that if you take him out for a couple of hours he would like to go to the cinema

Re: I've got a bit of a dilemma
I have used flea spray from the vets before on the rabbits and pigs living areas on advice from the vets. You just have to give it a couple of hours before putting the animals back in.
